The 8 Ps of Marketing

KP Kreative is celebrating its 8th year in business this month. So, to keep with the spirit of our lucky number 8, we wanted to spoil our customers with the 8 Ps of marketing. Implement these into your marketing strategy ASAP to embrace a fresh perspective for your next campaign.

1. Product:

While everyone has something to sell, the most successful products essentially sell themselves. So how can you achieve the same? From Dropbox to Gmail, there are countless marketing automation systems you can use to get more eyes on your products.

2. Price:

Humans are hard-wired to want to save money. But, sometimes, a simple rephrasing of your copy can change everything. For example, if they’re paying for a premium subscription but getting their first month free, the word “free” will reel them in like moths to the flame.

3. Place:

Successful sales are hugely influenced by where products are sold. So once you know where your customers are more likely to shop, you’ll know who to target more carefully.

4. People:

People have a heart for human brands, making it incredibly important to “humanize” your brand by speaking to your audience on their level – not above them.

5. Promotion:

There are infinite ways to promote your product, and a little brainstorming can go a long way. Consider where your customers live, what they expect in promotions, and how you can be as innovative as possible in speaking directly to their needs.

6. Positioning:

We’re sure there are plenty of other companies selling a similar product or service as you. But what hidden benefits set yours apart? What features will make consumers remember you over your competitors?

7. Packaging:

Sure, it’s what’s on the inside that counts – but the way you present your offerings externally deeply influences your audience’s mental associations with your brand. You don’t get a second chance at a first impression, so make yours count!

8. Partnerships:

Last but not least, consider teaming up with partners who already influence your target market. Your audience is far more likely to listen to someone they already know and trust.
